Pine Mountain Club (PMC), one of Southern California’s best kept secrets, is a private mountain community located in the San Emigdio Mountain Range in the Los Padres National Forest in Kern County.

PMC is conveniently located between the coastal communities (see Map), Bakersfield, Santa Clarita and the San Fernando Valley. Drive times vary between an hour from Bakersfield and Valencia, less than two hours from Santa Maria and about two hours from San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara. If you'd like to make plans for an overnight stay, there are many cabins available for rent.

Pine Mountain Village has hosted wine festivals in June of each year beginning in 2003. Wine in the Pines 2008, a non-profit event, will be hosted by the Pine Mountain Club Commercial Property Owners' Association in cooperation with the Pine Mountain Club Property Owners' Association (www.pinemountainclub.net) and the Pine Mountain Club Wine Society whose members sponsor and host winemaker dinners and other events at PMC throughout the year.

We would also like to welcome the Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra to Pine Mountain Village. They will be performing after the wine festival, and we encourage you to enjoy this open performance.
