Wine in the Pines 2009 will begin at Noon on Saturday, June 13th. Premier wineries from Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties will pour quality wines complimented by food prepared by great guest chefs and local restaurants.
Non-alcoholic beverages will be available for designated drivers and those who choose not to sample the wines.
Music will be provided by live musical groups, "House Red Band" and "Lanny Ray and the Reels", and artists will display their work in the Village.
A silent wine auction will be held toward the end of the event.
Wine provided by some of the featured wineries will be available for purchase at the Pine Mountain General Store in Pine Mountain Village.
You must be an adult 21 years of age or over to purchase tickets to and to attend Wine in the Pines. Proper identification with a photograph that confirms you are over the age of 21 must be presented with your ticket to obtain admission to the event.

On Friday evening, June 12, a winemaker dinner catered by Kim Buccio, formerly of Sage and Cinnamon and the Sweet Shoppe, and featuring wines by Vista del Rey winery in Paso Robles, will be hosted by the Pine Mountain Club Property Owners' Association in the Condor Room in the PMC Clubhouse. Winemaker Dave King will be pouring four of his wines selected to enhance the menu. The menu includes hors d'ouevres, a strawberry field green salad, Filet Mignon over Lobster Boursin Mashed Potatoes with a Merlot Reduction served with maple glazed carrots. (Vegetarian entree available with advance order). Raspberry sorbet, lemon chiffon cake, and chocolate cheese cake, accompanied by a lovely dessert wine, provide the finishing touch. Dinner prices, including four wines, are $65 for Wine Locker owners and their guests, and $75 for others. Tickets may be purchased at the Pine Mountain Club business office. Seating is limited. The Pine Mountain Club Property Owners' Association Inc., will host an 18 hole golf scramble on Saturday morning June 13th starting at 8am. The cost is $25.00 and includes greens fees. Drop by their Golf Shop to sign up or call them at 661-242-3734. The event is open to all.
